Honors and Awards:

• Fellowship Award in the Academy of General Dentistry-at that time the youngest dentist to ever receive the award.
• Post-graduate training at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies, considered the premier educational facility for cosmetic and advanced dentistry.
• Personally developed the David F. Greer Mentor Program for junior and senior students at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry.
• Established the Special Committee on the New Dentist in 1999 and developed it into a true Council with the Alabama Dental Association, with the mission to help in the transition from dental student to a practicing dentist.
• Directed Birmingham Cosmetic Study Club for other dentists who have received training at the Las Vegas Institute for Advanced Dental Studies
• Work has been highlighted in MAC Magazine by Microdental Laboratory, widely considered the best lab in cosmetic dentistry, and in C.E. courses throughout the country
• Interviewed multiple times by the newspaper, television, and radio on subjects ranging from cosmetic dentistry to “TMJ”, gum disease, and treatment for headaches and sleep apnea
• Recognized by the Consumer’s Research Council of America as one of “America’s Top Dentists” every year since 2003.
• Recognized by the International Biographical Center in Cambridge, England as one of the Leading Health Professionals of the World in 2005.
• Recognized by the U.S. Local Business Association as the Best of Birmingham every year since 2008.
• Recognized by The Richard’s Report, a national dental publication, as Practice of the Month in September 2002.
• Recognized as Most Caring Dentist by Birmingham residents and BMetro Magazine in 2014.
