Dr. Sarah Flanagan, DMD
Dr. Sarah Flanagan joined Vestavia Dental in April of 2025.
A Birmingham area native, Dr. Flanagan graduated with honors from Birmingham Southern College in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She then went on to graduate with honors from the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in 2005.
With two decades of experience, Dr. Flanagan has a comprehensive background in dentistry and brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to our team. She strives to provide the highest quality of dental care with compassion and understanding for her patients’ needs, using the state-of-the-art technology and support our team at Vestavia Dental provides. She prides herself on getting to know her patients, taking the necessary time explain treatment procedures, and to answer any questions so that her patients feel both comfortable and informed.
Dr Flanagan is a member of the American Dental Association, the Alabama Dental Association, the Birmingham District Dental Association, and the American Academy of Facial Esthetics. She and her husband have two young sons. They are members of Canterbury United Methodist Church. In her free time, Dr. Flanagan enjoys Alabama football, running with her dog, and traveling.
